27-year old Mother

JRS webbed toes

I am soon to be 27 and I have the same web toes as in your photo. Mine however are different on each foot, my left foot is probably about 50% and my right foot is almost all the way webbed

In my case I think it is genetically inherited. The only person in my family before me I know to have this was my father. My first son has these web toes and my second son, who died at birth, also had the webbed toes. My daughter, on the other hand does not have webbed toes.

I never thought too much to look into this until today. I was in a biology class talking about inheritance and traits. It got me thinking. As with you, I thought everybody's toes were like mine untill I hit middle school. I remember sitting in class one day and a girl looked at my feet, I was wearing sandals, and she said "wow, are you part alien or something"...

To this day everybody else's toes look long, skinny, and very strange to me. The only thing I wish is that I could wear those toe socks, I have actually thoght about buying a pair to see if I could separate the seems of the two toes and sew them together so they will fit my toes... I know a little silly.
